Volvo’s most important announcement at the New York Auto Show was the new XC60 SUV, but luxury sedan buyers might be more interested in the 2018 S90. For the US market, the Swedish-built S90 has been replaced by the Chinese-built S90L, a long-wheelbase variant originally designed for Asia. This gives the S90 more legroom and more luxury in the back seats, as well as a new hybrid option with 400 horsepower. Of course those who prefer the S90’s shorter length can still order a V90 wagon.
